Early years Community Outdoor Learning Experience, or ECOLE for short, was set up to give a link between the early years provision, and the local community. Ecole carries out much needed fund raising, with proceeds going directly to early years care.

The current committee is chaired by Heather Kerr, with Zoe Fawsitt as Secretary.

The main project for ECOLE just now is the outdoor planting in the Nursery garden.

Recently, the ECOLE group has purchased:

• Large wooden sandpit
• Outdoor weather proof suits for all children, and wellington boots!
• Dressing up outfits
• Helmets for bikes
• Wooden outdoor pirate ship

Previous projects have included the provision of gardening facilities, play equipment, and funding of the development of the outside play area.
